Assigment

1. Answer the questions after the videos you watched.
2. Define motivation in your own words.
3. Read chapter 13 and do the exercise about Building Management Skills, page 406
4. Choose any chapter in the book Personal Confidence and Motivation,  Elaborate a mind map and present it on monday during class.
5. Sometimes pay is so contingent upon performance that it creates stress for employees. Imagine a salesperson who knows that if sales targets are not met, she or he will not be able to make a house mortgage payment or pay the rent.  Either individually or in a group, think about the ethical implications of closely linking pay to performance.
6. Design a plan about how you will motivate the employees at the place you are working right now.  If you are not working design a plan how will you motivate your employees in order to manage a successful business.
